Treads are becoming quite fashionable for our sleeper wood.

Here is an example of the stainless steel spiral staircase in our showroom to which we have used 40mm French Oak treads with light character - it looks the business. Any black you see in the oak is a result of iron staining from the track called 'blueing'.
